Rule #1:

Teaming. When you Register with Jedi Team, you are agreeing to be a member of Team Jedi. You may be a member of any other team you or race as any representative team while you are an official member of JediTeam. Members are not allowed, however, to be active members of Sith Team, or to share confidential Jedi Team information with junior members or team outsiders. ANY infraction of this rule will result in immediate review by Jedi Council Members to determine whether to proceed with termination of your position on JediTeam.

Rule #2:

No Foul Language. Any use of language that may be considered foul, disrespectful, demeaning, belittling, or sexually explicit in any area that may be viewed en masse will not be tolerated. This also includes talk of or about drugs, drug use, or drug references. As an official member of JediTeam, you are an official representative of the team in the eyes of the world. Use of foul language may result in immediate review by Jedi Council Members to determine whether to proceed with termination of your position on JediTeam. If you find that you are having difficulties or are at odds with another player, please use the following methods to resolve the issue in a mature and respectful manner.

Correspond with the particular individual(s) via the use of private messages. If the matter is not resolved in this fashion, you may consult with a JM member. If the JM is not able to help, a Jedi Council Member will host a room, lock the room, then consult with each party in the dispute.

Disagreements must not be aired in the public forums.

Rule #3:

Nickname/Rank. JediTeam is an elite and respected group of extreme offroaders. As an member of JediTeam, you are expected to abide by the responsibilities and priviledges afforded to your current rank.

0. Tryouts - One who has requested to join. A tryout may ask to be tested to advance to the rank of J.T..

 1. J.T. ( Jedi Training) - One who has agreed to follow instruction and learn some really wicked offroading skills. J.T.s observe play and are instructed by J.M.'s. J.T.'s are not usually given Ops privileges, except in unusual circumstances. J.T.'s must pass 5 testing sessions with a J.M. to advance to the level of Jedi. If you think you are ready for testing, you are probably already being tested. Be patient, padawan, and trust in the force. (in other words, don't ask to be tested).

 2. Jedi (Jedi completed training) - One who has completed training and passed the testing administered by one or more J.M.'s. Jedi are accomplished and mature representatives of the Jedi Team, and will be responsible for monitoring conduct in any room where they have Ops. They will be expected to treat others fairly (no banning or kicking people out for no reason) while still upholding the rules. Abuse of privileges will lead to review by the Jedi Council. Jedi's advance to the level of J.M. at the discretion of the Jedi Council. The exact testing procedures are considered confidential and known only by the Jedi Masters.don't ask to be tested

 3. J.M. (Jedi Master) - One who has advanced to the highest rank within the team, and has earned the right to instruct, observe and test other members for their advancement. J.M. are also considered arbiters of justice, and will demonstrate appropriate behaviour to all junior members of the team. This expectation is upheld through constant peer review by the Jedi Council. Not all J.M.'s are members of the Jedi Council, but with time, may become eligible.

Rule #4:

Have Fun. Being part of a team can be a fun and rewarding experience. You must keep in mind that it is only what you make of it. What you put into the team by means of teamwork, effort, experience, respect, levity, etc., you will get back from the team. We realize that within a large team, it would be unrealistic to expect everyone to get along with each other at all times. We expect that you have as much fun as possible, keeping in mind that this is a game, and that you maintain a respectful relationship with all other players regardless of race, creed, color, origin, attitude, or home planet. Lead by example, if others see that you are having fun, they will want to be part of that fun too.

 

You are responsible for following these rules, and demonstrating appropriate behaviour through your example. The Jedi Council is watching you and monitoring your progress in offroading skills as well as exemplary behaviour. Those who would advance to the level of Jedi Master will follow the rules while demonstrating consistent progress.
